My Top 8 Favorite Skincare Products and How I Use Them

Skincare is super important to me and has been throughout the majority of my young adulthood. Clear, young skin leads to a more vibrant self, right? These top eight products are my must-haves year-round. Their benefits are outstanding.

Here's where I start:

1. Glo Skin Beauty Vitamin 15% Vitamin C Skin Protecting Antioxidant Serum

I happened upon this brand after winning a contest on Instagram to receive $200 in beauty products from Glo Skin Beauty. Let me tell you, this product leaves your skin glowy and increase its health in a heartbeat. Upon first use, I noticed the immediate benefits. This product also promotes the elasticity of skin, increase collagen production and leaves a more radiant, balanced complexion. I use it at least 3 times per week, sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on the weather conditions and my stress levels of the week.

Find it on gloskinbeauty.com for $96.

2. L'Oreal Clay Mask

These are more of a treat of the week than anything else, but when your skin needs a pick-me-up, L'oreal has got you covered! I'm completely in love with the blue Pure-Clay mask argile-pure. It applies beautifully as if you're in James Cameron's "Avatar" film circa 2009, then once you take it off, makes you feel closer to Zoe Saldana's own gorgeousness without the mask of her character. L'oreal clay masks have a clear objective - to rid your face of impurities, leaves it fresh and enhance your confidence and character. I use it at least once per week, sometimes two if I'm feeling "extra," as the kids would say ...

Plus, for the small price of under $10 at Walmart, what have you got to lose with trying this all-star product?

3. Derma E Essentials Microdermabrasion Scrub

I absolutely love this product. After just one use, my skin was feeling softer and cleaner. Everyone needs a good exfoliator, and I recommend this one ten out of ten. Korean beauty products are where it's at. If you don't know this yet, you're not paying attention. I use it about two to three times per week.

Find it at ULTA for $29.99.

4. Noxzema Classic Clean Original Deep Cleansing Cream

This product is a classic. Every woman should have this in her arsenal for skin care treatment. Apply after you shower to wake up your skin and remove impurities. I use this about every other week, whenever I'm feeling I need a good wake-me-up. It has been especially helpful with providing me comfort during cold-season. My sinuses are refreshed, so there's a dual benefit for you.

Find it at Walmart for only $3.97.

5. Clarins Hydra Essentiel Silky Cream - Normal to Dry Skin

A fellow beauty junkie introduced me to this product, and, I have to say, unlike other lower-label creams I've used to moisturize and enrich my skin after I wake up and before I go to sleep, this one had richer benefits. Clarins knows what they're doing. Whatever your skin type, they have products to suit your needs for a fair cost based on the quality of the product. I had been using this product about four times a week until I ran out of my sample size. Beauty junkie problems, am I right?

Find it at Sephora for $48.

6. Pixi Glow Tonic

This balancing toner always leaves me glowy. Love, love, love it. From years ago, to now, it maintains quality and sustains beautiful skin. I use this product about three times a week.

Find it at Target for $15.

7. Burt's Bees Blemish Stick

Say it with me - "Buh-bye, blemishes!" I've recommended this product to you before, and I will keep doing it because it is for real. Burt's Bees does things naturally and effectively. When you apply this stick to blemishes, you're bound to see quick results. I would call my skin normal, so take that into consideration as I'm giving you my opinions. I am unsure how it would work for dry or oily skin, but if you have "normal" skin texture like mine, it's a gem. Having a clear, even, glowing complexion that is healthy and well is extremely important to me, and Burt's Bees contributes to this objective through and through. I use it when necessary usually a few times a month if that. It lasts a long while.

Find it at Walmart for $7.84.

8. St. Ives Collage Elastin Timeless Skin Cream

This is another product I've previously recommended to you, and for a good reason. Aside from promoting good facial texture and moisturization, it also helps clear up cellulite on your legs if used daily. On my face, I don't use it as often. Since I ran out of my Clarin's I use it the same amount, interchangeably among the products, whichever I have in-house, so to say.

Find it at Walmart for $5.44.
